Appointments
If you would like to make an appointment, please contact our office by phone or email. Every attempt is made to accommodate patients timely manner and at a convenient time.
Financial
Chiropody services are NOT an OHIP insured service, however are covered by most Extended Health Insurance Plans such as ODSP and York Access, as well as Veterans Affairs and WSIB. We would be happy to advise and assist in submitting your insurance claims.
Cancellation
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.

Meet Your Foot Specialists
Darryl Cohen
Chiropodist and Clinic Director
Registered with The College of Chiropodists of Ontario, Darryl Cohen first entered the profession of Podiatry in South Africa in 1995. He was an Executive Member of the South African Podiatry Association (1999-2003). He held a position on the Executive committee of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists from 2003-2010, serving as President for 3 years. He has special interests in sports injuries; diabetic foot care; biomechanics of the lower limb; pediatric foot care and custom made orthotics. He consults to The Unite HERE Wellness Centres in the GTA, providing services to members of Local 75 and their families, and runs successful private clinics in Thornhill and North York where they use the latest technology in the prescription and measuring for custom made orthotics.
In his spare time he enjoys running, playing soccer and squash, and spending time with his wife and 3 children.
Lester Bendix
Chiropodist
Lester is a registered chiropodist in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. He is a member of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine and the Ontario Society of Chiropodists.
After completing his Bachelor of Science, Honours degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario, Lester went on to study Chiropody at The Michener Institute where he completed internships at various public and private clinics, such as the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute Hospital. Lester has also completed a number of courses geared toward athletic therapy at York University. Additionally Lester spent two months in 2011 volunteering as an EMT in Israel.
Lester continues to educate himself in the newest and most effective lines of treatment by regularly attending seminars and conferences for healthcare professionals. It is his belief that prevention and being pro-active is the key to receiving the best treatment and will lead to the greatest outcomes.
Kevin Joy
Chiropodist
Kevin graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. During his undergraduate studies, Kevin was involved in research and lent his extra time to volunteering in hospitals and multidisciplinary settings. While volunteering, Kevin learned of the Chiropody profession and realized it was an excellent way to really provide help to those in need. Kevin completed his Chiropody training at the Michener Institute and has worked in both community and private health settings.
Kevin looks forward to using his education and training to helping patients lead happier and healthier lives through educating, treating, and managing various foot conditions and ailments.
